Applying graphics to your window space is a smart way to advertise. Windows provide an optimal surface area for graphics that often goes unused. Why not utilize your storefront or vehicle windows to attract the attention of your next customer?

Various applications can be used on your windows to satisfy your particular needs. If you want to deliver a quick message, you should consider vinyl text that can be applied to any window. Choose a font that is easily read and is thick enough, and large enough, to be seen effortlessly by those passing by. Perhaps you are looking for more of a dramatic image? In this case, go with “window perf,” or images printed on perforated vinyl material. The outsider looking in will not be able to see through the material. It simply appears to be a large solid graphic. However, there are tiny holes in the material that allow those on the other side of the window to see out. This makes the material the perfect selection for vehicle windows. It also works well on storefront windows that let in too much sun.

Be sure to use a professional company to help you design and install window graphics. This is your chance to catch the eye of prospective customers- don’t leave them with the wrong impression. eGenoa is a 3M certified installer, and has a strong history of creating window graphics to be proud of.

You see them on sidewalks, hanging outside of a restaurant, or in the entrance of a restaurant. While servers and hostesses are capable of sharing specials with patrons, a professionally designed menu board can go a long way. Menu Boards are an effective communication tool to promote a special, or promote the atmosphere and restaurant in general to people as they are traveling/walking by.

Menu Boards are identical to other forms of commercial signage, due to the fact that each element that goes into the board/sign, must have a purpose. Using the proper colors, fonts, texture, etc, will produce a professionally and aesthetically appealing menu board to a desired target audience. One of the main reasons for menu boards are to emphasize what and where the customer wants to eat, therefore, the menu board should be designed from the perception of the target audience you want to attract the most.

A menu board should be easy-to-read as well as visually appealing to prospective, passing-by patrons. Therefore, text size, color, and style are very important. A successful menu board should be scannable and appealing at a quick glance, luring the prospect into wanting to find out more.

Businesses should allot enough budget to ensure these boards/signs are designed and produced professionally to maximize your sales potential. eGenoa offers several quality and highly practical options to meet business needs. Start luring customers in today!

Since the Internet has enabled consumers to research and buy products without ever going to a store, businesses have gradually shifted their marketing and advertising budgets online. Though online advertising has proven to be very effective, businesses should not neglect Point of Sale (POS) or Point of Purchase (POP) graphics in their stores.

Regardless of consumer research and purchasing behaviors, POP/POS graphics continue to be a core marketing material for retailers. Generally found in store windows or hanging from the ceilings, these graphics can:

Alert customers of sales.

Point customers in the direction of a brand or product.

Add a sense of professionalism to the ambiance of the store.

Help influence consumer behavior at the moment of a purchasing decision.

POS graphics tend to catch the customers eye and therefore, contribute to the impact of a buying decision in favor of a specific brand or product. These graphics provide efficiency in targeting the consumer in the actual buying environment. Using the right colors, fonts, style, and photo, the POS graphic is visually appealing to consumer, allowing them to easily imagine what the product shown will look, taste or feel if they were to own it. As long as sales continue thrive in your store, having POS graphics will continue to serve a purpose.

There has long been a debate on whether or not it is appropriate to sit while exhibiting at a trade show. Yes the hours are long, you will probably be dressed nicely in uncomfortable shoes, and it will surely feel nice to have a chair available – but is it appropriate to sit when exhibiting?

When exhibiting at a trade show, creating a welcoming environment that prospects will feel excited about entering is crucial. If potential customers see you standing at the entrance of the booth, ready to be of assistance, they are more likely to stop and engage in discussion. On the other hand, if you’re sitting behind a table, set away from the entrance, it’s easier for the attendees to keep on walking, before you’ve even had a chance to say hello.

When standing, you create a sense of positive energy. You will give the impression that you are too busy to sit, and that you are excited about what you have to offer. In contrast, sitting often gives an impression of bring tired or bored.

Yes, sometimes we have physical limitations when it comes to standing. In this case, if you must be seated, think of placement. Don’t hide behind part of your booth. Rather, be an integral part of inviting people to stop. Remember to turn on the energy in your demeanor.

When exhibiting at trade shows, standing is always the best option. If necessary, invest in a pair of stylish, but comfortable shoes! It will surely make it easier to smile at your future customers!

Regular trade show exhibitors know the extensive preparation, time, and money that go into putting together a noticeable display. In addition to the equipment, props and materials presented, the development of a web and printed direct mailer, alerting customers of the upcoming event and selecting the winning prize for the giveaway you’ll be hosting are all part of this preparation. Then, finally, the actual trade show takes place. With all the time and energy that was placed in organizing this event, it’s sometimes difficult to exhibit the right energy.

The people attending the shows expect walking into an arena of salespeople, sometimes thousands of salespeople. Obviously no attendee will talk to every exhibitor, so in order to ensure your prospective and existing customers stop at your booth requires positive energy in your demeanor. Displaying this positive, energetic demeanor does not require changing your sales style, as everyone has different tactics for delivery. Rather, demonstrating through your attitude and mannerisms will result in increased attendee drop-ins.

The attendee drop-ins are the crucial moments to build new relationships and strengthen ones already established. This can best be achieved by creating a sense of excitement. Talking with someone who comes off as tired, bored and uninterested in his or her job at hand is never pleasant. So, be the person people can have a positive and upbeat conversation with.

Your job is to make prospects feel that they are going to miss something if they don’t stop to talk with you. Exude excitement, and they will be drawn to hear what you have to offer. Dictionary.com cites effectiveness as the synonym to energy. To exude energy at a trade show is to be effective. The last thing you want is to waste time and money.

With 1000 exhibitors at a standard national trade show, you can expect around 10,000 to 12,000 attendees. With these numbers, you can assume around 300 to 400 of those visitors will stop at your booth. If you were to spend that time conducting cold calls, you would not come close to hitting those numbers. For that reason, exhibiting at a trade show offers the perfect opportunity to get the word out about your products or services.

Trade shows are the perfect opportunity to impress both existing and prospective customers. The ability to attract new business at these events requires a booth that instantly conveys your message.

When discussing your business with prospective customers, you are building relationships. Even though having discussions with attendees may be more difficult than other circumstances, you ARE getting the valuable opportunity to present yourself and your business, which is vital in establishing a working relationship.

Remember, if you are not exhibiting at key trade shows, and miss the opportunity to build those valuable relationships, your competition will surely benefit. Without a presence, your competition will have the chance to sell to new prospects and perhaps entice your existing customers to purchase from them. Of course, it is not practical to exhibit in every trade show, but do your research, and make sure you participate in the shows that are crucial to your industry.

Q: What exactly is a car wrap?

A: A car wrap is a digital color image printed on a vinyl adhesive covering, that is then applied to your vehicle. It is similar to a giant sticker.

Q: Is the same material used on windows?

A: No, the material applied to windows is different. Window Graphics are printed on a perforated vinyl that allows you to see through the rear and side rear windows. State laws prohibit the use of wraps on the windshield, as well as on the driver and passenger side windows.

Q: Does it matter what color my vehicle is?

A: No, the material used is not translucent, therefore you cannot see through it.

Q: What type of vehicles can be wrapped?

A: We are fully trained to wrap cars, SUVs, trucks, box trucks, trailers, buses, and boats.

Q: How long will the wrap last?

A: With proper care, car wraps last approximately 3-5 years for the vinyl and 1-2 years on the window perforation.

Q: What is the difference between a 1/2, 3/4, and a full car wrap?

A: The size of the wrap (1/2, 3/4, or full) implies the percentage of the vehicle that is covered with vinyl.

Q: Can you wrap plastic or fiberglass?

A: Yes you can. Wrapping textured plastic or fiberglass is not recommended. The wrap will lift and will not adhere properly to these surfaces.

Q: Can GenoaGraphix design my vehicle wrap?

A: Absolutely! We have a creative department that will work with you to achieve the look you desire.

Q: Can I use my own designs for my vehicle wrap.

A: Yes, but there are guidelines to follow for a professional outcome. Please contact us for these specifics.

Q: What happens if I change my information that appears on my vehicle wrap at a later time?

A: Overlays can be produced to reflect the new information. They can then be applied over the desired areas.

Q: Will the car wrap damage my paint?

A: No. In fact, the vehicle wrap will protect the paint. We use only the highest grade 3M vinyl which will not damage your paint. One note: if you are installing decals only, the area covered by the decal will not fade, but the area left uncovered will continue to fade. There could be a slight discoloration after the decals are removed. This tends to be more pronounced on darker vehicles.

Q: Does the condition of my current paint job matter?

A: Yes, the vehicle’s paint job needs to be in good condition. Rust damage under the wrap may cause problems later. Also, loose paint can be a problem in installation.

Q: Can the vehicle wrap be removed?

A: Yes, the vinyl and adhesive can be removed from the car by a professional. If the paint was in good condition before the wrap, there should be no problems with the removal process.

Q: How is the material applied?

A: As a certified 3M installer, we at GenoaGraphix follow strict application guidelines. Using expert technique, the material is “stretched and pulled” over the vehicle using heat and other tools to accomplish a smooth and flat application.

Q: Where do you wrap the cars?

A: Most of our vehicle wraps take place in our fully equipped shop. However, depending on the customer needs and the size of the vehicles, we sometimes perform vehicle wraps on customer location. As a part of the 3M family, we have a team of 3M installers available anywhere in the United States and Canada.

Q: Do I need to have a clean car before I get it wrapped?

A: Yes, your car should be clean and fully dried before arriving for a car wrap.

Q: How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?

A: Most wraps take 2-3 days. This depends on our current schedule and the type of vehicle wrap. Please inquire for specifics.

Q: Will you wrap a leased vehicle?

A: Absolutely! Since the material can be removed, there is no problem in wrapping a leased vehicle.

Q: How do I properly take care of my wrap job?

A: Hand washing your wrapped vehicle is recommended. Avoid power washing and abrasive materials is discouraged. Waxing the vehicle will help with the upkeep as well.

Q: Can I use my rear defroster?

A: No, use of the defroster will damage the material.
